HEALTHeWNY

Advancing WNY's collective health.

Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient region. Our future is built upon an equitable foundation of good health and well-being for all.

Welcome to the HEALTHeWNY™ Dashboard!

The HEALTHeWNY Dashboard is a comprehensive, publicly accessible platform designed to provide real-time data and insights into the health status of our WNY community.  As an interactive tool, the HEALTHeWNY Dashboard allows users to explore data at a county and zip-code level, providing a detailed picture of health in our region. It is updated regularly with the most recent data available, ensuring users can access the most accurate and timely information.

We encourage everyone to explore the dashboard, use the data to inform their decisions and join us in our efforts to create a healthy, equitable community.

Partnerships are vital for HEALTHeWNY™

By fostering collaboration, coordination, and community engagement, partnerships can drive change, improve health outcomes, and foster healthier and thriving communities.

The HEALTHeWNY™ partnership enables the sharing of resources, including funding, infrastructure, data, and technology. This pooling of resources allows for more efficient and effective use of available assets, which emboldens the impact of interventions.

By joining forces, we amplify our voices and influence decisions that address systemic barriers and promote an environment conducive to health and well-being.

Regional Health Improvement

By leveraging the wealth of health information available, communities can harness the power of data to drive evidence-based strategies that lead to tangible regional health improvements.

Data serves as a compass, guiding stakeholders toward evidence-based strategies with the potential to transform the health and well-being of individuals and communities within the region.

HEALTHeLINK™, with the guidance and support of our Regional Health Improvement Committee, supports regional health improvement by applying strategies with our regional partners, such as:

  • Identifying health priorities
  • Targeted interventions
  • Monitoring progress
  • Resource allocation
  • Collaboration and partnerships
  • Advocacy and policy change

Our Work

Our community partners have specialized knowledge and expertise in specific fields. When combined, our experience, skills, and perspectives produce more effective and innovative solutions to the challenges communities face.

  • We provide comprehensive population-level reports that illustrate the state of diabetes in Western New York to our region’s eight local health departments.
  • We leverage our relationship with all local health departments in Western New York’s eight-county region. Together, we are working to provide valuable support, resources, and opportunities to promote public health while contributing to the well-being of our region’s communities.
  • By creating Community-based Organization Reports, HEALTHeLINK provides data for the Buffalo Center for Health Equity to support its effort to address health disparities and promote health equity in the Buffalo community.
